Privacy Policy

Your library stays yours.

AlbumNest is designed to organize your photo library without collecting your personal data.

Effective date: August 14, 2026 · Developer: Weilun Qian

1. Summary

AlbumNest does not collect personal data, create user accounts, show advertising, perform cross-app tracking, or send your photos to a developer-operated server. The app’s photo grouping and curation records are handled on your device.

2. Photos library access

With your permission, AlbumNest accesses photos and videos visible through Apple’s PhotoKit framework. It may process the following information to provide its features:

This information is used to display your library, group items by time and place, select Favorites to keep by default, remember curation progress, and request changes you initiate. AlbumNest does not use it for advertising, analytics, profiling, or tracking.

3. Information stored on your device

AlbumNest stores curation progress, history, and display preferences locally in the app’s storage on your device. This information is not transmitted to the developer and normally remains until you delete the app or erase the device.

4. Apple system services

AlbumNest relies on Apple platform services:

Apple’s handling of information through its services is governed by Apple’s own privacy practices.

5. Data sharing and third parties

AlbumNest does not sell or share personal data with the developer or advertising companies. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Apple system services described above may process information as necessary to provide their functionality.

6. Your choices and controls

You can grant Full Access or Limited Access to Photos, change the selected photos, or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security › Photos › AlbumNest. You can review all keep selections before completing a group. Deletion requires the iOS system confirmation, and recoverability is managed by Apple Photos through the Recently Deleted album.

7. Children’s privacy

AlbumNest is not specifically directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

8. Security

Keeping app data on the device reduces transmission risk. Security of the device, iCloud Photos, and Apple platform services is also controlled by your device settings and Apple account protections.

9. Changes to this policy

If AlbumNest’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before or when the change takes effect. The effective date at the top will identify the latest revision.
